There is a lot of sex, but it’s the story which kept me coming back for more. All of the angst and drama kept me wondering what was going to happen next. Cara needs all of the brothers; she just doesn’t know it yet. The MacRae brothers need her too; she brings the balance they need to life. I loved the many layers in this book; they always kept me guessing about what was going to happen next. There are some light BDSM scenes that ramp up the heat and bring the emotions to another level. I love how Ms. DeLand brings her characters to life and makes me really cheer for them. Each of the brothers brought something to this story; they all were an equal part so no one feels left out. I was curious to see if this combination could be balanced and it can, really well in fact. When you want a hot steamy story with lots of angst and hot emotions, this is the book to pick up. |
